Welcome to Digital Communications Technologies. Everyone in our organization is driven by the desire to provide you, our customer, with network-enabling technology that makes it possible to manage, configure, control and communicate with intelligent devices over shared cellular networks.

DCT was first incorporated in 1998 after several years of research and development into the wireless arena. We design, develop, manufacture and commercialize wireless solutions for M2M (Machine-to-Machine) applications focusing into three main market segments: GPS Mobile Data Solutions, Utilities and the Security Industry for alarms & monitoring. Our products are hardware and software compatible with customer’s needs and applications. The ANTARES GPS, CAPELLA and VEGA devices have been certified on many different wireless networks around America. We will continue working hard to satisfy our client’s expectations.

WIRELESS PRODUCTS SINCE 1998.

1992 to 1997 – Research and development into the wireless scenario.
1998 – Creation of DCT – Digital Communications Technologies
1999 – First product on the market, the DigiCom RF for alarm monitoring using CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data) wireless networks.
2000 – Product development using cellemetry cellular networks.
2001 – Company segmentation into Mobile Data, Utilities and Security / Launch of Antares GPS, Capella and Vega concept.
2002 – Arriving of 3G wireless networks such us GPRS & CDMA1X. All our products compatible with these new technologies.
2003 – Launching the Antares GPS vehicle tracking device over 3G.
2004 – ISO9001:2000 certification of our fabless factory at China.
2005 – Venture Capital Investment into DCT
2006 – 38,000 pieces of products shipped out to the market.
2007 – 40,000 pieces of Antares GPS GSM/SMS/GPRS shipped out to the market.
2008 – Launch of e-track GPS portable tracking device.
2009 – New developments to integrate with Antares GPS: OBDII - CANbus Interface, Temperature Sensors, and Garmin PND GPS devices.

MANUFACTURING.
In order to concentrate our efforts in designing new products, innovate more effectively and bring products to market more quickly we have choose to work as a fabless company; this means we sub-contract the manufacturing of our products. Our ISO9001:2000 certify factory based at China takes cares of the best quality control for our products.

Founded in 1989, Garmin is a pioneer in Global Positioning System (GPS) devices and the worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and sale of GPS equipment. The company has built and sold millions of GPS products that serve the automotive, aviation, marine, consumer, wireless, OEM, and general recreation markets.
